Малфорд Квикерт Сибли (1912–1989) – американский политолог, профессор политологии Университета Миннесоты.
Он был противоречивой фигурой, поскольку защищал такие позиции, как социализм и пацифизм, в то время (эпоха Маккарти 1950-х годов), когда они были крайне непопулярны.[2] Плодовитый автор и эссеист, Сибли много писал о пацифизме, утопизме и гражданском неповиновении. Коллекция его статей в Историческом обществе Миннесоты включает переписку, литературные произведения и учебные материалы. И на занятиях, и на политических митингах Сибли часто выступал против войны во Вьетнаме.[3] Университет Миннесоты хранит опись бумаг Сибли.[4]
