По мере того как я немецок и не говорю русского, я писал то на английском языке и переводил его автоматически "babelfish". Таким образом я спрашиваю, что вы пожалуйста извиняете и исправляете плохого русского. Michael (Михаил, de:Benutzer:humpyard).

Thank you for your interest! I don't speak Russian, but I am lucky to be able to read Cyrillic letters. As I are very interested in ALL, thus also the very fine (!) Russian hump yards, I have tried to write this article with the help of "babelfish" because to my opinion such an article was very missing due to the existing article of the hump itself. While doing this, I have corrected some Russian rail related technical terms as far as I know. Unfortunately I don't have no more the used English text because the base of it was NOT the English Wikipedia article which contains still some mess (oh, this will also be much labour to review it ...), but I have compiled it as an English summary generated from the articles in Italian, Spanish, Romanian and Dutch which I also have begun (the latter two also with very great difficulties similar to this one because I understand Romanian and Dutch also only written without being able to speak them). Thus I ask you please to excuse that the basic English text for the Babelfish translation is gone. Everyone who speaks German, English, French, Italian or Spanish, may ask me HERE please in one of these languages (by the way: my Spanish knowledge is the worst of all of them) what I meant concerning the not understandable Russian text parts, and I shall answer to it HERE in the language in which the question was posted; I occasionally shall observe the article and its discussion. But now I have also some questions: Why did you delete the difference between transit and terminal hump yards (indeed interesting: there may be no terminal hump yard in Russia, but they do not only exist in Italy, but also e. g. another one belonging to the largest in the world [Toronto McMillan Yard, Canada] is a dead-end yard!) ? Finally I am interested to know whether photographying Russian hump yards is allowed, needs an authorisation or is forbidden - perhaps someone can write this into the article please?
