Роберт Монтгомери Макдауэлл (англ. Robert Montgomery McDowall; 15 сентября 1939, Палмерстон-Норт — 20 февраля 2011, Крайстчерч) — новозеландский ихтиолог, специализировался на изучении пресноводных рыб Новой Зеландии. Описал несколько новых видов рыб из рода Галаксии («Galaxias»).

В честь Боба Макдавелла назван вид рыб «Galaxias mcdowalli».
